 tree risk management strategies\, and what cities need to know in tree lit
 igation cases.\n\nMark created Natural Path Urban Forestry in 1988 as an u
 rban forestry consulting business. Since then\, he has overseen projects a
 cross North and South America and Europe. Mark is an ISA Board-Certified M
 aster Arborist (RM 131B) and instructor for the Tree Risk Assessment Quali
 fication. He presents internationally on topics of tree risk and urban for
 estry policy development. Mark serves as an expert witness in numerous tre
 e-related litigation cases and uses this experience to inform his perspect

 ty Forestry & Arboriculture \nAuburn University\, Auburn\, Alabama\n\nDr. 
 Brodbeck will present on his study on how communities large and small are 
 addressing risk and liability in trees.  He will present findings in his s
 tudy on how Alabama communities mitigate risks associated with increasing 
 storm frequency and address liability concerns related to trees. The proje
 ct employed a qualitative research process to elicit emergent themes\, and
  interviews were conducted with participants directly associated with urba
 n forest management in 22 Alabama communities of varying sizes.  \n\nSpeak
 ers will take time for questions and answers during their sessions.\n\nAdj
 ourn\n\n\n3 ISA Certified Arborist\, Municipal Specialist\, and BCMA Manag
 ement CEUs will be available.\n3 Forester CFEs\, category 1.\nLandscape Ar
 chitects and others will receive a professional development / certificate 
 of attendance for their CEU files.\n\nLunch is included.
