Campus Tree Symposium
Join us for our 4th quarter program-Campus Tree Symposium! Previously known as Campus Tree Conference, this is an annual program held each time on a different campus. "Campus" is not just defined by colleges and universities but also P-12 education campuses, healthcare and church institutions as well as military grounds with public greenspaces. Come learn more about how campuses around the state, and those who work on campuses play a big role in Georgia's community forests.

GTC Members' Event
As a thank you to our members, the Georgia Tree Council is holding a Members’ Event on September 19th 9am-12pm in Madison! Hosted by the Madison Greenspace Conservation Commission & Madison Trolley Company, GTC members will take a trolley ride through Madison’s historic district and community forests led by tree-guide Mateo Fennell, ISA Master Arborist. Following the trolley tour, members will have a chance to socialize with snacks at Madison’s Heritage Hall.

Project Learning Tree Workshop
Join GTC and the Mary Kahrs Warnell Forest Education Center for a Project Learning Tree Workshop in Guyton, GA. Whether you are a formal or informal educator, this professional development and continuing education curriculum is for you! All participants will receive a PLT resource book with curriculum and resources for leading activities. At the end of the day, participants will receive a PLT Educator Certification.
This workshop is free to attend thanks to the support of the Georgia PLT State Coordinators.
