Thanks to a grant from the TREE fund, the Georgia Tree Council is excited to announce the inaugural Community Tree Advocate Academy! This program is designed for tree board members and other community volunteers who want to learn how to better sustain healthy community forests where they live, work, and play.
The program will consist of two in-person events, hosted at the Wimberly Center for Community Engagement in Winder, and three evening webinars. Attendees will learn about arboriculture, community forestry, and community engagement through hands-on skill development and engaged learning.
