Join GTC & Keep Georgia Beautiful Foundation (KGBF) on May 20, 2026 in Tifton, GA for our 2nd Quarter education program "Leveraging Trees to Meet Community Needs". This event is sponsored by Legacy Arborist Services and KGBF; hosted by the City of Tifton. Lunch will be provided by BJ's Catering.
Trees are an essential part of community development! Join us for an interactive workshop to learn how Georgia communities can leverage trees to meet their economic, environmental, and public health needs and improve residents' quality of life.
Workshop sessions include:
• mini field trip with Tifton’s municipal arborist to see their latest projects and new equipment demo
• interactive exploration matching the services trees provide with local needs and goals
• question and answer panel discussion with the professionals who manage and advocate for our community forests
• hands-on learning rotations to build basic arboriculture skills
