Project Learning Tree Workshop
Join GTC and the Mary Kahrs Warnell Forest Education Center for a Project Learning Tree Workshop in Guyton, GA. Whether you are a formal or informal educator, this professional development and continuing education curriculum is for you! All participants will receive a PLT resource book with curriculum and resources for leading activities. At the end of the day, participants will receive a PLT Educator Certification.
This workshop is free to attend thanks to the support of the Georgia PLT State Coordinators.

Project Learning Tree®️ (PLT) is committed to advancing environmental education, forest literacy, and green career pathways using trees and forests as windows on the world. Since its introduction in the early 1970s, PLT has provided award-winning resources and hands-on, interdisciplinary activities allowing students to investigate environmental issues and encouraging them to make informed, responsible decisions. PLT offers a lifetime of learning from early childhood through adulthood including a wide and diverse network that provides professional development for educators and opportunities for young adults to explore forests and green careers. PLT is an initiative of the Sustainable Forestry Initiative®, a non-profit charitable organization with the mission of advancing sustainability through forest-focused collaboration.
