Turning Urban Forest Data into Action
Join us for our first in a series of webinars for 2026-"Turning Urban Forest Data into Action". We will hear from 3 speakers about how they use GIS data to study trees and urban forestry.
At 12pm we will hear from N. Royce Dingley who is an Urban Forester for Facilities Management Division with UGA about how they use GIS to capture the campus tree inventory.
Next we will hear from Bridget Lawlor who is the GIS Manager for the City of Sandy Springs about how they compare traditional ISO clustering to AI-derived canopy analysis.
Our program will wrap-up with our headliner, Josh Behounek who is the Business Development Manager for the Davey Resource Group’s Environmental Consulting division about their Smart Tree Inventory.
This event is free to GTC members and $20 to non-members. It will be hosted through Microsoft Teams and the event link will be shared with registrants.
